CultureMap was the first major outlet to put Genesis Steakhouse and Wine Bar on everyone’s radar as the “…steakhouse Glatt Kosher coming to the Bellaire Triangle that’s rocking Houston’s growing Orthodox Jewish community.” With an opening date approaching, the buzz continues to grow.
The primary focus of Genesis Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar is to offer a range of premium aged beef, veal and lamb. Stuffed Cornish hens, duck and salmon are just a sample of the poultry and seafood options on the menu. Additional entrees will include contemporary versions of traditional dishes. The kosher steakhouse will feature an extensive wine list and serve craft cocktails.
Currently, Genesis Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar hosts dinners by invitation only of family and friends, but will be open to the public in the next week. Houston is full of steakhouses, but quality restaurants are scarce, as are specialty restaurants. While it’s too early to predict Genesis’ endurance, the continued buzz within the city’s Jewish community indicates that people are ready for a kosher steakhouse.
