Entrance to the Dirty French Steakhouse is through the “Jungle Bar”, a lush lounge draped in a custom tropical leaf pattern, a heroic onyx bar with a real gold leaf ceiling and a leaf chandelier. striking Murano glass. There’s an intimate dining room with a deep palette and private nooks of aubergine velvet wingback banquettes. Designed for late nights and endless rounds of champagne, this dining room features an area rug designed by Ken Fulk Inc in collaboration with Pierre Frey. This custom piece features a risque pattern mimicked by the room’s rainbow Venini glass chandeliers. Dirty French Steakhouse offers an extensive menu of premium aged steaks like filet mignon, rib eye, and New York Strip, as well as a 40-ounce Porterhouse and Wagyu Tomahawk. The restaurant also offers the quintessential American seafood dishes, such as a delicate Bass Citron with Thai basil pesto and Chops & Birds. These steakhouse staples are complemented by innovative twists on classic French preparations, including table-served Dover sole meunière to share and the country’s best duck à l’orange.

Hors d’Oeuvres, or appetizers, include an array of dishes like lobster ravioli with Nantua sauce; Giant grilled “Bourguignon” oysters; Tuna Tartare with Bird’s Eye Pepper and Indochine Crêpe; the famous Mushroom Millefeuille with green curry and peas from Dirty French; and an ethereal, impossibly crunchy crab cake crunch with buttery potatoes and cayenne. Finally, the Dirty French’s spit-roasted Prime Rib follows the technique pioneered by MFG at the New York Grill. For dessert, expect soufflés from MFG’s celebrity pastry chef, Stephanie Prida, from their superb soufflé program. There’s also an impressive wine list of over 700 bottles to try.
